Key features/benefits
Pressure regulating valves are pilot-controlled hydraulic control valves that operate with line pressure. Inside the pilot valve, there is a diaphragm sensitive to the inlet pressure of the valve. This diaphragm works against the force applied by a spring adjusted to the desired set pressure. The pilot valve maintains the inlet pressure constant at the set value by gradually opening or throttling the main valve, unaffected by flow rate changes.
