Level control valves are used to regulate the level of water in a tank or a large reservoir in the simplest way possible. The valve remains open until the water reaches the desired level.
The pilot float is activated by the rising water level and eventually closes, causing the level control valve to close gradually. This ensures that the water inflow is kept under control.
