Fire Hydrants are intended for fast and direct water supply of the fire fighters pump trucks and to other equipment in factories, warehouses, industrial buildings, residential buildings, airports, harbors, military areas, parks and where there is fire risk.
The Hydrant consists of main body, elongation piece and the lower body. Opening and closing is done by a special handle, only owned by the authorized persons. There is a so called “anti-frost” piece on the body.
This piece enables the main body to stay dry when not used by emptying the water to the atmosphere when not pressurized. This helps prevent the body of the valve from freeze damage.
