Diageo North America has announced plans to build a new state-of-the-art manufacturing and warehousing facility in Montgomery, Alabama. The 360,000-square-foot facility, named Diageo Montgomery, will have a multimillion-case annual production capacity and serve as a key operational hub for the company’s alcohol brands.
The $415 million investment will strategically position Diageo closer to its southern region distributors, reducing road travel requirements and enhancing supply chain efficiency. The facility will be located off the Hope Hull exit on Interstate 65, according to the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce.
Diageo has emphasized sustainability in the design of the new facility, incorporating advanced technology to improve water and energy efficiency across the site.
