Globe Valves; operate as opening and closing procedure by pressing and depressing the plug connected to end of the plug spinning on to the flow cross section. Flow direction is one way as shown on valve. Globe valve must be preferred in case of the pressuring the flow opened to atmosphere since the force obtained by the spindle press the plug on to the seat helps sealing.

The Sealing System
A stainless steel piston enclosed by two resilient valve ring forms the sealing system. The sealing area is the surface of the piston. The upper valve ring ensures tightness against the atmosphere, while the lower valve ring provides sealing across to ports.
