A floating ball valve is a valve that utilizes a ball to regulate the flow of liquid. In its normal operation, the ball floats slightly downstream, held between the seats, which causes the seating mechanism to compress as the ball presses against it. The IV range of floating valves, featuring a soft-seated seat design, incorporates various unique design features that ensure rugged construction, reliable operation, and an extended service life.

Soft seats are available in various materials such as PTFE/GFT/CFT/CTPFE/PEEK/DEVLON to meet pressure-temperature application requirements.

These valves are well-suited for various applications across diverse process industries, from standard to the most challenging. This includes chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, steel, alumina, power generation, hydrocarbon services, common utilities, allied industries, and oil and gas sectors.
