Worley Oman Wins Framework Contract with Galfar

Worley has announced that Worley Oman has been awarded a framework agreement by Galfar Engineering and Contracting SAOG to provide engineering and procurement services for Petroleum Development Oman’s (PDO) northern concession areas.

The five-year framework agreement will see Worley Oman deliver engineering, project support, and procurement services for PDO’s Qarn Alam and Saih Rawl projects. The scope of the agreement encompasses various aspects of PDO’s capital expenditure portfolio, with a particular focus on supporting PDO’s decarbonization goals.

The majority of the services provided under this agreement are expected to address transitional and sustainability-related needs across PDO’s facilities and infrastructure assets. Worley will carry out these services from its office in Oman.

Chris Ashton, Chief Executive Officer of Worley, expressed enthusiasm about the new agreement: “We’re pleased to support Galfar Engineering and Contracting and further strengthen our long-standing relationship with PDO through this framework agreement.”
