KBR Awarded $46 Million Contract for Major Development Project in Iraq

KBR has announced it has been awarded a five-year contract, with additional options, to support the Iraqi government’s ambitious infrastructure and future energy projects, including the delivery of megaprojects and sustainable development initiatives.

Under the $46 million contract, KBR will provide advisory and consultancy services to the Iraqi Government’s Ministry of Planning, focusing on creating an effective program environment to ensure the successful delivery of strategic megaprojects.

Key areas of KBR’s expertise that will support the ministry, which interfaces with all ministries and formations in the Iraqi government, include economic planning, strategy development, feasibility studies, technical reviews, and large-scale project management.

This comprehensive contract will enhance KBR’s significant role in developing Iraq’s energy sector. The company will work closely with various ministries to identify, design, and implement critical projects aimed at improving the country’s economic and social landscape.

KBR’s emphasis on innovation and sustainability will be integral to delivering Iraq’s ambitious development plans, aligning with the country’s long-term vision for growth and environmental stewardship.
