BRIDGESOURCE, a subsidiary of Clyde Companies, is proposing the Moapa Valley limestone quarry and cement plant project on a 2,200-acre site in Nevada, USA.
The Western U.S. faces a significant cement supply gap, as only one-third of the approximately 96 operational cement plants in the country are located in the region. Recent shortages have been addressed through foreign imports, but the proposed cement plant in Glendale, with an estimated capacity of 1.5–2.0 million tons per annum (Mta), aims to strengthen domestic supply.
The project will undergo a comprehensive permitting process under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
