“Elastomer gate valves are classic open-close valves used in industrial facilities or for agricultural purposes, both underground and above ground.

When the valve is in the closed position, sealing is ensured by the gate coated with vulcanized rubber.

The opening and closing operation is performed by turning the handwheel connected to the trapezoidal spindle, which is guided and seated within the body, perpendicular to the flow direction.

This is a non-rising spindle design. The elastomer-coated gate, when the valve is fully open, seats into its housing inside the valve body cover, completely separating from the flow path and providing full bore passage. It is an isolation valve, used in either fully open or fully closed positions.”
