Tashkent, Uzbekistan, September 27 – Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) have announced plans to initiate new joint projects in the oil and gas sector, according to reports by Trend.
This collaboration was discussed during a recent meeting between CNPC’s delegation and specialists from Uzbekneftegaz. The projects aim to not only maintain stable gas production but also integrate innovative technologies to enhance industry efficiency.
As part of their visit, the CNPC delegation toured several key production sites, including the Mubarek and Shurtan oil and gas production departments. At Mubarek, they observed the operations at the Denizkul gas pre-treatment unit and the compression compressor station, gaining insights into the facility’s production processes.
In Shurtan, the delegation inspected the primary gas treatment units and the compressor station at gas gathering site No. 20, where they focused on improving gas production efficiency through the implementation of electronic systems designed for faster data exchange.
Additionally, Uzbekneftegaz Deputy Chairman Odil Temirov previously announced CNPC’s plans to modernize the Bukhara oil refinery, further strengthening the partnership between the two companies.
