Tetra Tech, Inc., a global leader in consulting and engineering services specializing in water, the environment, and sustainable infrastructure, has been awarded a multi-award contract by United Utilities to support stormwater and flood management across the United Kingdom.
The five-year agreement will see Tetra Tech provide a broad range of technical services focused on reducing stormwater overflows and mitigating flood risks. The company will design innovative solutions utilizing predictive modeling to enhance the capacity of both existing and future wastewater infrastructure. Additionally, nature-based strategies will be employed to meet evolving stormwater management requirements.
Tetra Tech’s water resources engineers will leverage proprietary software tools, PLATO™ and SOCRATES™, to rapidly develop and evaluate various stormwater storage and water quality scenarios. These tools will assist in identifying the most efficient solutions for capital investments and long-term planning.
