TechnipFMC has been awarded two significant subsea contracts by Petrobras for pre-salt fields offshore Brazil.
The first contract, valued between $250 million and $500 million, involves the design, engineering, and manufacturing of riser flexible pipe, along with associated services such as packing and storage.
The second contract, awarded after a competitive tender, entails the design, engineering, and manufacturing of subsea production systems for the Atapu 2, Sepia 2, and Roncador projects. This contract, valued between $75 million and $250 million, also includes installation support, life-of-field services, and options for additional equipment and services.
All equipment will be manufactured and serviced locally, leveraging TechnipFMC’s capabilities in Brazil to support the development of pre-salt reserves.
“These awards highlight our leadership in flexible pipe technology and the success of our standardized equipment platform, which was effectively deployed for Petrobras on the Buzios 6-9 fields. Our nearly 70-year legacy in Brazil underscores our commitment to the region and our ongoing support for Petrobras’s strategic vision,” said Jonathan Landes, President of Subsea at TechnipFMC.
