Technip Energies announced that its 50:50 joint venture services company in Kazakhstan has secured a long-term contract to support the ongoing development of the expansive Karachaganak field.
In 2023, the Karachaganak field produced 142.7 million barrels of oil equivalent and 12.6 billion cubic meters of gas, as reported by the ownership consortium Karachaganak Petroleum Operating (KPO), which includes ENI, SHELL, Lukoil, and KazMunayGaz. Technip Energies mentioned on Tuesday that the newly established five-year agreement encompasses a variety of services. These services range from consulting to detailed conceptual engineering, all aimed at optimizing and expanding the existing facilities and infrastructure of the Karachaganak gas fields.
