Building on the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding, we are excited to announce a significant progression with the signing of an Agreement of Interest alongside Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure, Goran Vesic. This milestone was marked in the presence of President Emmanuel Macron and President Aleksandar Vučić.
This agreement paves the way for the development of a strategic wastewater treatment facility that will process 423,000 cubic meters of wastewater daily, benefiting approximately 1.5 million people. The plant will play a crucial role in reducing water pollution in the Danube and Sava rivers, highlighting the importance of international collaboration in enhancing the quality of life.
Additionally, we had the privilege of engaging with young researchers at the University of Novi Sad, reinforcing our commitment to a long-term and impactful presence in Serbia. At SUEZ, we aim to bolster local expertise through knowledge sharing and continued collaboration.
