“Six Firms Vie for Supervision Contract on Bahrain Sewer Projects”

The Ministry of Works in Bahrain has received proposals from six firms for construction supervision consultancy services on the Sheikh Isa Bin Salman Trunk Sewer Phases 1 and 2 projects, according to Zawya.

The competing firms are Aecom Middle East, Stantec Khonji, p2m Middle East, DAR SSH International Engineering Consultants, Consolidated Engineering Company Khatib & Alami, and Egis International.

The projects involve constructing deep gravity trunk sewers using micro-tunneling technology. The selected consultancy will manage all aspects of the projects, serving as both consultant and quantity surveyor. Each phase is expected to last 24 months, with an additional 24-month Defects Liability Period following completion.
