Singapore Commits Over US$80 Million to Coffee Manufacturing Facility in Binh Dinh

Construction of a state-of-the-art freeze-dried instant coffee factory is scheduled to begin this September, with the facility set to become operational by early 2028. The project will span an area of 7.11 hectares within the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park, part of the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone located in Canh Vinh commune, Van Canh district. This strategic location is well-positioned to benefit from the region’s expanding industrial infrastructure and proximity to key export hubs.

The factory will focus on the production and export of freeze-dried instant coffee, with a designed capacity of 5,400 tonnes annually. It is expected to serve both domestic and international markets, tapping into the growing global demand for instant coffee products. The facility will operate under a 46-year license, starting from the issuance of the investment registration certificate, reflecting a long-term commitment to the region and its economic development.

According to representatives from the Binh Dinh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, the project is expected to play a pivotal role in the province’s economic growth. By introducing advanced manufacturing technologies and producing high-quality industrial products, the facility is anticipated to boost the local processing industry, paving the way for further industrial diversification. Additionally, the project is expected to attract new investments to the region, strengthening Binh Dinh’s position as a growing industrial hub in Vietnam.

Beyond economic contributions, the factory is projected to create significant employment opportunities, providing more than 200 jobs for local workers during its operational phase. This influx of jobs will not only benefit the immediate community but also enhance the overall socio-economic well-being of the province. The long-term presence of this factory is seen as a catalyst for local development, stimulating ancillary industries and services, and reinforcing the region’s industrialization efforts.
