Simba Group to Deploy Plug&Grind® Mill in Tanzania”

Simba Group wants to establish a Cemengal modular and portable Plug&Grind® cement plant in the Tanga region of Tanzania. The grinding station shall have a capacity of about 95 tph.

A similar Cemengal plant has been visited at Ndolu Cement (photo) in Kenia, which has been installed in 2017. The Simba Group, which is not identical with Heidelberg Material’s Simba Cement, wants to provide a solution to the current cement deficit in the country and set new standards for cement quality and performance. It is expected that the new grinding unit can be operational by next year.
