Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) has invited both local and international developers to participate in a prequalification program for 12 water and sewage projects under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model.
SWPC stated that this program will allow developers to obtain prequalification approval and receive Request for Proposal (RFP) documents for these projects without needing to submit separate qualification applications for each one.
The off-taker highlighted that the program is designed to streamline and expedite the prequalification process, giving private sector companies ample time to form consortia and enhancing the competitiveness of bids.
The deadline for submitting Statements of Qualification (SOQs) is Thursday, 4 July 2024.
SWPC plans to offer 5 Independent Water Projects (IWP) with a total capacity of 2.1 million cubic meters per day (m3/day) and 7 Independent Sewage Treatment Plant (ISTP) projects with a total capacity of 750,000 m3/day between 2024 and 2026.
