Saipem Secures $850 Million Contract from Eni-BP Joint Venture

Italian offshore energy services company Saipem has secured a contract from Azule Energy, a joint venture between Eni and BP, to develop the Ndungu field as part of the Agogo Integrated West Hub project offshore Angola.

Under the $850 million contract, Saipem will handle the engineering, fabrication, transportation, and installation of approximately 60 km of rigid pipelines and subsea installations at a depth of around 1,100 meters. Additionally, the company will manage the transportation and installation of flexible pipes, straddles, and 17 km of umbilicals.

Manufacturing activities for this project will be conducted at Saipem’s Ambriz yard in Angola.

For the offshore installation campaign, Saipem plans to use its FDS vessel for the transport and laying of rigid pipelines.

The Agogo Integrated West Hub development project is situated in the west hub of Block 15/06 offshore Angola.
