The reactivation of the cement factory in Nossa Senhora do Socorro, Sergipe, is gaining momentum with the R$600 million investment recently announced by Polimix. The company is promising to generate 1,500 direct and indirect jobs in the state with the reactivation of the plant.
The initiative, which will revitalize the industrial complex closed for seven years, received an environmental license and tax incentives from the state government through the Sergipe Industrial Development Program. The focus of Polimix and the Government of Sergipe is to boost the state’s economy over the next few years with the factory.
