The selected site for this venture is the Mirobod mahalla in Dustabad, Kuyichirchik district, strategically positioned near Tashkent. This location was chosen after comprehensive discussions between Zalal Mowafaq representatives and the regional khokimiyat, highlighting its logistical efficiency and operational synergy.
Zalal Mowafaq, an Afghan company renowned for its soft drink production, including the popular Attack Energy, plans a phased construction approach for the plant. The initial phase is expected to be completed by the end of this year, marking a critical milestone in the project. The second phase is scheduled for completion in 2025.
Once completed, the plant is anticipated to significantly enhance local employment prospects, particularly in the Kuyichirchik district. Initial estimates indicate that the first phase alone will create up to 500 jobs, with potential employment opportunities reaching 2,000 as operations expand.
Additionally, the project is expected to stimulate economic activity in the region by facilitating both domestic sales and exports of its soft drink products. This dual-market strategy underscores Zalal Mowafaq’s vision to capitalize on Uzbekistan’s growing consumer market while expanding its regional export footprint.
