Hassan Allam Holding has announced that its subsidiary, Hassan Allam Construction Saudi, in collaboration with El Seif Engineering Contracting and China Harbour Engineering Arabia, has secured a significant contract from Port of NEOM, located in Oxagon, northwest Saudi Arabia.
The project entails an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract to develop Port of NEOM’s Container Terminal 1 and the Marine Services Area (MSA). This includes the design and construction of all MSA and T1 buildings, as well as the infrastructure and entrance zone for the new terminal, which is scheduled to open in 2025.
Port of NEOM plays a pivotal role in the development of NEOM, handling the increasing volumes of materials entering the area during its rapid growth phase. The port provides a variety of services, including container, general cargo, bulk, and roll-on/roll-off ferry services. Its strategic location enhances global and regional connectivity and supports the Kingdom’s maritime and economic ambitions.
