MSM Group to Develop 3.0 Mta Cement Plant in Nigeria

The Kebbi State Government and MSM Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the construction of a 3.0 Mta cement plant in northwestern Nigeria.

Valued at $2.4 billion, the project is expected to create 45,000 direct and indirect jobs.

The signing ceremony, held in Abuja last week, was attended by officials from the Kebbi State Government, the Federal Government, and MSM Group.

MSM Group, a Nigerian business conglomerate established in 2011, operates across multiple sectors, including oil & gas, fertilizers, shipping, and agriculture.

The project will be executed in four phases over a two-year timeline.
