Minres gets go ahead to build new gas pipelines in Pilbara

Diversified resources company Mineral Resources (MinRes) has been given the green light to build a new gas pipeline to connect its Lokyer gas field to its mine sites in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, as part of its Ashburton Infrastructure project.

The proposed 15.6-kilometre-long gas pipeline will be tied into the Goldfields Gas Pipeline (GGP) to power the new Ken’s Bore iron ore mine site, which is currently in development.
