Larsen & Toubro (L&T), an Indian multinational engineering and construction firm, has won a contract worth up to $300 million from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), India’s state-owned oil and gas leader.
As reported by Offshore Engineer on Monday, July 1, 2024, the project encompasses the engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) of 129 kilometers of subsea pipelines, along with related modification work for ONGC’s offshore fields on India’s west coast.
The contract was awarded to L&T’s energy hydrocarbon division, L&T Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH). While the exact contract value remains undisclosed, L&T has classified it as “significant,” indicating a value between $120 million and $130 million.
LTEH provides comprehensive design-to-build solutions across the hydrocarbon sector for both domestic and international clients. The company is structured into various business groups, including offshore, onshore EPC, modular fabrication, advanced value engineering & technology, and offshore wind farms.
