Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has signed a series of major contracts for the provision of logging and perforation services, reinforcing its ongoing efforts to enhance upstream oil and gas operations across the country.
The combined value of the awarded contracts stands at approximately KWD 208 million (around $676.8 million), highlighting KOC’s continued investment in advanced oilfield services aimed at improving production efficiency and reservoir performance.
The contracts were awarded to four internationally recognised service providers. Western Atlas International LLC secured a contract valued at KWD 56.34 million, while Halliburton Overseas Ltd was awarded a deal worth approximately KWD 46.12 million. China National Logging Corporation received a contract valued at around KWD 50.09 million, and Weatherford was awarded a contract amounting to nearly KWD 55.49 million.
The scope of work covers specialised logging and perforation services, which play a critical role in reservoir evaluation, well completion, and optimising hydrocarbon recovery. These services support accurate subsurface data acquisition and efficient well performance, contributing to long-term field productivity.
The awards underscore KOC’s strategy of partnering with leading global service companies to support sustainable production growth, operational excellence, and the continued development of Kuwait’s oil and gas sector.
