JK Cement Expands Production Capacity by 6.0 MTA in India

JK Cement is advancing its expansion plans with four key projects aimed at boosting its cement production capacity by 6.0 MTA. Following the recent establishment of the Prayagraj grinding unit, reported on June 26, 2024, the company has now secured the main machinery for a 3.3 MTA clinker production and 1.0 MTA cement grinding unit in Panna. Additionally, two new cement grinding plants, each with a capacity of 1.0 MTA, are planned for Hamirpur and Prayagraj. The company has also completed land acquisition for a 3.0 MTA split grinding unit in Bihar. All these plants are scheduled to be commissioned by December 2025.

Furthermore, JK Cement has received environmental clearance for an ambitious 8.0 MTA integrated cement project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. This project will be developed in phases, reinforcing the company’s growth trajectory in the Indian cement industry.
