Chinese oilfield services provider Jereh Oil & Gas Engineering has secured a multimillion-dollar turnkey contract to construct a new gas terminal in Brunei Darussalam, marking a major milestone in the company’s international portfolio. The award was formalized through an official letter of award (LoA), reflecting Brunei’s ongoing commitment to expanding and modernizing its gas infrastructure and field development activities.
Under the full turnkey scope, Jereh will be responsible for the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) of the facility, delivering end-to-end solutions for one of Brunei’s strategically important gas developments. This comprehensive responsibility underscores Jereh’s technical capabilities and experience in managing complex oil and gas infrastructure projects.
The project strengthens Jereh’s presence in Southeast Asia, a region experiencing robust growth in energy demand and infrastructure expansion. It also aligns with Brunei’s long-term strategy to enhance its gas processing and export capacity, supporting future upstream development projects and reinforcing energy security.
The award further highlights China’s expanding role in Brunei’s energy sector and positions Jereh as a competitive player on the global oil and gas stage, capable of delivering large-scale, high-value infrastructure projects across international markets.
