Hassan Allam–WETICO JV Secures Abu Qir Desalination Contract

Hassan Allam Holding has announced that its subsidiary, Hassan Allam Construction, in joint venture with Water and Environment Technologies Company (WETICO), is executing the full Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) scope for the Abu Qir Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Desalination Plant, located in Alexandria, Egypt.

The project includes the engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of a state-of-the-art desalination facility with a production capacity of 80,000 cubic meters per day.

The company emphasized that this initiative represents another key milestone in its expanding portfolio of water and desalination projects across Egypt and the wider region. With growing demand for sustainable water resources, Hassan Allam remains committed to delivering large-scale, high-efficiency infrastructure that strengthens national water security strategies and ensures long-term access to clean water.
