GoldCrest Cement to Build Major Integrated Plant in India

GoldCrest Cement Private Limited (GCPL) is advancing plans to establish a large-scale, integrated cement manufacturing facility in India. The greenfield project will feature a clinker production capacity of 3.5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) and a cement production capacity of 4.5 MTPA.

In March 2025, Humboldt Wedag India Pvt Ltd (HWIPL) was appointed as the EPC contractor for the plant, with project completion targeted for March 2027. This month, GCPL secured a long-term limestone supply agreement with Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC). Under the agreement, GMDC will supply 150 million tonnes of limestone over a 40-year period from its upcoming Lakhpat Punrajpur Mine, located in Lakhpat Taluka, Kutch District, Gujarat.
