Engineers India Limited (EIL) Wins EPCM Contract for NRL Expansion Project

Engineers India Ltd (EIL) has been awarded a prestigious Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) contract worth ₹252.95 crore (excluding GST) by Numaligarh Refinery Ltd (NRL) in Assam. The contract involves the development of a 360-kilo-tonnes per annum (KTPA) polypropylene unit (PPU) at NRL’s Numaligarh refinery, furthering India’s petrochemical growth.

Strengthening Strategic Collaboration with NRL

EIL’s minority shareholding in NRL underscores its long-term commitment to the refinery’s expansion and modernization. This latest contract reinforces their strategic partnership, expanding EIL’s influence in India’s refining and petrochemical sectors.

EIL’s Market Leadership and Financial Strength

As a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, EIL continues to drive innovation and efficiency in India’s oil and gas sector. The company’s robust operational strategies have resulted in a remarkable 78% year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profit for Q3 FY25, showcasing its financial resilience and industry leadership.

With this EPCM contract, EIL cements its role as a leading force in India’s refinery and petrochemical industries, contributing to the country’s energy and infrastructure advancements.
