Engineers India Limited (EIL) Secures Contracts Worth ₹4,681 Crore

Engineers India Limited (EIL) has secured new contracts worth ₹4,681 crore, bringing its total order book to approximately ₹11,350 crore in the current financial year, according to CMD Vartika Shukla. The company recorded an order inflow of ₹3,406 crore during the fiscal year, with the domestic segment contributing ₹2,907 crore. As of March 31, 2024, EIL’s order book stood at ₹7,823 crore.

Diversified Portfolio and Domestic Growth

EIL’s new business includes Open Book Estimate (OBE) and Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) assignments valued at ₹2,111 crore, strengthening its position in India and reinforcing its expertise in engineering and project management solutions.

Expanding International Presence

EIL continues its global expansion, securing ₹499 crore in international contracts. The company has re-entered Algeria and Kuwait while strengthening its Abu Dhabi office, resulting in a 57% year-on-year increase in business inflow from Abu Dhabi, rising from ₹93 crore in 2022-23 to ₹146 crore in FY 2023-24.

Major Global Projects

In FY 2023-24, EIL played a key role in commissioning Nigeria’s $20 billion Dangote Oil Refinery, showcasing its ‘Local to Global’ vision. It is also providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for a 1.5 MMTPA refinery in Mongolia, financed by an Indian government line of credit.

Strategic Contributions in Refining and Infrastructure

EIL is actively involved in modernizing refining and energy infrastructure worldwide:

  • Algeria – Providing FEED and PMC services for the NHT-CCR reforming unit at the Arzew refinery.
  • Bahrain – Developing a design package for a desalination plant to support the refining sector.
  • Kuwait – Consulting on FEED and ITB preparation for revamping the AGRP-1 Unit at the MAA Refinery.
Strengthening Presence in Guyana and the Middle East

EIL is expanding in Guyana, offering consultancy services for an Integrated Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) Plant and supporting the development of a 300 MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. In the Middle East, the company has secured major contracts with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and other regional clients.

With a strong order book and growing global presence, EIL remains committed to delivering high-impact engineering solutions that drive industrial and energy sector advancements worldwide.
