Dr. Soliman Abdel Kader Fakeeh Hospital Co. (Fakeeh Care) has unveiled plans to establish a new medical center in Awali, Makkah, spanning 2,450 square meters. The company has awarded Advanced Horizons Contracting Co. (AHC) a SAR 104.1 million contract for construction, electromechanical, and finishing works of the facility, which will have a total built-up area of 14,400 square meters. This contract does not include the already completed excavation, shoring, and dewatering.
The new center will feature 20 clinics across various specialties, an expanded emergency room, a day surgery unit, and a pharmacy, all equipped with advanced technology for laboratory and radiology services. The construction is expected to be completed within 18 months.
Additionally, Fakeeh Care plans to develop a new teaching facility to address the Kingdom’s educational needs. The facility will be built on a 2,529 square meter plot in Al-Hamra District, Jeddah. Dr. Soliman Abdel Kader Fakeeh Medical Education Co. (FMCS) has signed a SAR 46.4 million contract with AHC for the construction, electromechanical, and finishing works of this center.
The educational building will encompass 7,200 square meters with 15 classrooms, a laboratory, an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) room, and a comprehensive library. It will accommodate over 500 students daily and is expected to be completed within 12 months.
