DOF Subsea Secures Multiple Contracts for Construction Support Vessels in Gulf of Mexico

Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF Group has secured two new contracts for its construction support vessel, the Skandi Implementer, awarded by two undisclosed international oil companies for separate subsea construction projects in the Gulf of Mexico.

According to DOF, the projects have a combined expected duration of approximately two months, though financial details remain undisclosed.

The 2018-built Skandi Implementer recently left Mexico following the termination of a previous contract due to a payment default by the client. The vessel had originally been scheduled to operate in the country until April 2026.

Before mobilizing for its new assignments, the vessel will undergo the integration of survey services and two of DOF’s remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) in late February.
