Clean Energy Technologies to Serve as EPC for Multiple BESS Projects

Clean Energy Technologies (CETY) has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Lease Advisory Group to serve as Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for multiple Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across New York—marking a significant step toward strengthening grid reliability and advancing decarbonization efforts.

Project Scope and Capacity

Each project site will integrate 5 MW / 20 MWh of energy storage capacity alongside solar panels and EV charging infrastructure. The hybrid systems will generate revenue through New York’s Value of Distributed Energy Resources (VDER) program while providing essential grid services and enhancing renewable energy integration.

Comprehensive EPC Services

Under the LOI, CETY will deliver turnkey EPC solutions, covering:

  • Planning and engineering design from initial concepts to detailed technical specifications

  • Procurement of all necessary materials, equipment, and services

  • Construction, installation, testing, and commissioning under rigorous quality control standards

  • Full compliance with prevailing wage, domestic content, and regulatory requirements

“This award highlights CETY’s growing role as a trusted EPC partner for large-scale energy storage,” said Kam Mahdi, CEO of CETY. “These projects play a vital role in supporting New York’s clean energy transition and building a more resilient grid.”

Accelerating the Clean Energy Transition

According to the company, this award reinforces CETY’s commitment to expanding its clean energy portfolio, driving the adoption of energy storage solutions, and supporting a low-carbon, resilient power system—in New York and beyond.
