Churning Steel In Chhattisgarh: CPCBL Steels Gears Up With 629 Crore Plan

CPCBL Steels & Power Private Limited is set to initiate the construction of a state-of-the-art steel plant facility in Newra, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The project will encompass a Pelletization facility with a capacity of 1.2 million tonnes per annum (tpa) and comes with a total cost of 629 crores. While the exact completion date is yet to be determined, the corporation is gearing up to commence construction imminently, signifying a significant expansion of their current operations.

Primarily known for manufacturing TMT bars, sponge iron, and billets, the addition of the new plant will diversify CPCBL’s product portfolio, meeting the surging demand for steel products in the region. This strategic move not only enhances their market presence but also caters to the evolving needs of consumers.
