Cenovus Energy pumps $1.5 B into Ohio refineries.

Cenovus Energy commits to bolstering its operations in Ohio, with plans for a substantial injection of over $1.5 B into the region over the next half-decade.

Under the umbrella of Cenovus Energy, its subsidiary, Husky Marketing and Supply Company, envisions expanding its workforce by over 100 positions at its Dublin, Ohio office, subject to local regulatory approvals.

J.P. Nauseef, President and CEO of JobsOhio, emphasized the significance of Cenovus’ strategic investments in Ohio, remarking that the decision underscores the region’s appeal for substantial capital injections typically reserved for Gulf states.

Nauseef added, “This collaborative endeavor not only cements Columbus Region as Cenovus’ North American headquarters but also heralds a new era of cutting-edge technology and equipment for its Lima and Oregon refineries.”
