Cementos del Norte in Honduras invests in a new VRM

Cementos del Norte S.A. (Cenosa) will increase its cement grinding capacity by 1.0 Mta to 2.45 Mta at their integrated plant in Rio Bijao, Choloma Cortés, Honduras. Cenosa has allocated US$ 40 m for the construction of the grinding plant (Photo: mill foundation), which comprises a Loesche VRM and auxiliary equipment.

Additional US$ 11 m are invested in a new 250 t/h raw material crusher and a cement packing machine. Cenosa is the largest cement producer in the Honduras and is investing to meet the growing market demand and to support the Government’s efforts to strengthen the country’s road infrastructure.
