New Delhi: One of the leading oil and gas companies in India Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has entered into an agreement with Noida International Airport to lay a dedicated aviation turbine fuel (ATF) pipeline from BPCL’s Piyala Terminal to the greenfield airport tank farm.
Spanning 34 kilometers, with a 1.2-kilometer section within the airport premises, this pipeline will meet the airport’s ATF demand while reducing carbon emissions.
Once operational, this pipeline, operating on a common /contract carrier basis, will ensure seamless fuel transportation to the greenfield airport.
Noida International Airport also known as Jewar Airport, is an upcoming international airport being constructed near Jewar in Gautam Buddha Nagar District, Uttar Pradesh in India, which will serve the National Capital Region (NCR).
