AMAK Secures Quartz Exploration License in Saudi Arabia”

Almasane Alkobra Mining Co. (AMAK) has been granted a quartz exploration license by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources. The license, covering 90.15 square kilometers in the Najran-Aseer province, was issued on August 11, 2024, and will remain valid until August 10, 2029.

AMAK plans to conduct necessary studies and exploration activities during the license period to verify the availability of required raw materials.

In related news, AMAK announced in March that its Almasane mine expansion project, aimed at developing the Moyeath orebody, is 95 percent complete.
