Alkhorayef Wins $58.6 Million Contract for Tertiary Treatment Plant Expansion in Dammam

Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Company has secured a contract worth 220 million Saudi riyals ($58.61 million) to expand a tertiary treatment plant in Dammam. The agreement includes increasing the plant’s capacity to 125,000 cubic meters per day and rehabilitating the existing facility, according to a statement from the Saudi-listed company.

The financial impact of this contract is expected to be realized in the first quarter of 2025. Additionally, in July, Alkhorayef Water received six new blanket purchase agreements valued at $51 million from the state-run National Water Company (NWC) to install new water and wastewater connections.
