Aker Solutions has secured a significant multi-year contract to continue providing brownfield maintenance and modification services for ConocoPhillips Skandinavia on two major North Sea fields. The new six-year frame agreement, valued between NOK 2.5 billion ($250 million) and NOK 4 billion ($400 million), extends the long-standing partnership between the two companies. It also includes options to extend the deal for up to two additional periods of three years each.
The agreement covers ongoing maintenance and modification work on the Eldfisk and Ekofisk fields offshore Norway, which represent one of Aker Solutions’ largest brownfield portfolios in the region. The new contract period begins in January 2027.
Aker Solutions will manage the work from its Stavanger office, with fabrication activities carried out at its Egersund yard. The contract will also continue to support offshore jobs across the company’s workforce.
Paal Eikeseth, Executive Vice President and Head of Life Cycle Business at Aker Solutions, said the award reflects the need for standardized, efficient solutions that maintain high safety standards. He noted that the company looks forward to strengthening its decades-long collaboration with ConocoPhillips, emphasizing the consistent quality delivered by the team.
This latest win follows another recent multi-year brownfield services award from ExxonMobil for the Hebron platform in Canada, further reinforcing Aker Solutions’ strong position in the offshore lifecycle services market.
