Agiba Petroleum, EGPC, and Eni Partner to Accelerate Iris Field Development

Agiba Petroleum Company, in collaboration with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and Italian energy major Eni, has expedited the development of the Iris field in Egypt’s Western Desert, according to a company statement.

Currently, the field is being developed through three production wells, ensuring a daily output of 8,500 barrels of oil equivalent (BoE).

Agiba Petroleum also plans to drill additional wells in the coming period, with locations being selected based on reservoir studies and existing well performance.

The Iris field has been successfully integrated into the company’s pipeline network, highlighting the effectiveness of its exploration strategy and the potential of recent discoveries.
